In the past decade, Ashley Cummins has been chasing her dream of being a UFC fighter. She competed on Season 23 of "The Ultimate Fighter" as a strawweight. ONE Championship
After travel restrictions prevented the fight from being held at May's venue, the ONE Championship has rescheduled its atomweight Grand Prix for September 3. The event will continue to feature the strawweight title bout and a quarterfinal match of the ONE Championship atomweight Championship.
Invicta FC
Alesha Zappitella of Invicta FC is the current champion at atomweight. The former strawweight has been on an impressive four-fight winning streak. She is well known for her solid hands, grappling prowess and strong grips. She trains at Scorpio Fighting System, but has also previously trained at Knoxville MMA (Strongstyle MMA) and Knoxville MMA.
Xiong Jing Nan
Xiong Jing Nan is currently the reigning ONE Women's Strawweight World Champion. Tiffany Teo was the first to stop her in 2018, and she won the title. She has since made six successful title defenses, including a victory over Angela Lee last year. Xiong recently declared her plans to downgrade to atomweight.
Stamp Fairtex
Atomweight Stamp Fairtex won her very first match in less than 30 seconds. She continued her Muay Thailand career. She fought more 80 times and won many titles. Stamp made her ONE Championship debut in 2007 with the best performance ever recorded at the tournament. She began Muay Thai at six years of age in Thailand. Her resume is impressive.
Ayaka Hamasaki
Ayaka Hamasaki, atomweight division champion, is one of the best fighters around. Seika Fujino and Emi Izawa were her wins in recent fights. She is also undefeated in nine bouts, and has won three consecutive bouts. Her professional record includes 23 wins and five losses. She has also won three fights through stoppage. Her average fight length is 2.25 rounds.
Magdalena Czaban
Polish rising star Czaban is one of the best prospects in MMA. Czaban is a former Junior Atomweight World Champion at 155 cm. She has proved that MMA can be a wonderful place to succeed.
Alesha Zappitella
Megan Anderson posed once with Alesha Zippitelli, an atomweight. This revealed that Anderson is more about a foot taller to the Brazilian. Anderson's height may seem not surprising, but Anderson's weight-cutting techniques are impressive. Anderson lost 170 pounds, and then dropped to 146 within a week.
