Horan's college, high school and college careers took her to many places around the globe. She was a 2012 player for the Colorado Rush in W-League. She scored two goals while shooting 19 shots. Later, she played for Paris Saint-Germain FC in France, where she signed a six-figure contract. Since then she has played for PSG as a forward.

She started her career in France
Lindsey Horan, then just eighteen years of age, decided to become a professional and join Paris Saint-Germain. This shocking decision shocked the entire soccer community. Horan was already an accomplished player and had originally committed to playing at the University of North Carolina. She decided to stay in France, where she could make a name in professional soccer.
Horan was still playing in her youth club and had a crush upon Messi, one the top USWNT players. After a family trip to Spain, Horan's youth club coach called her and offered her an opportunity to try out for the French club. Horan, her family and a brief break from college led to Horan moving to France to train with the team. Horan was not allowed to make any official appearances on behalf of the team in order for her NCAA eligibility.

She will join Olympique Lyonse on loan through June 2023
USWNT Midfielder Tim Horan has agreed to a French loan deal with Olympique Lionnais until June 2023. The deal will see him join the club in 2019 season. Horan will be joining USWNT teammate Catarina Macario at the club. Both players have been part of the Lyon squad since last year and will continue to be part the team.
The move comes as no surprise given Horan's recent history in Europe. From 2012 to 2016, she was a player in France with Paris Saint-Germain. She recently won the Women's World Cup at Lyon, and she has signed a contract extension to Thorns FC. She will remain in the US until 2025.
