The LPGA Classic marathon was exhausting. Kang won when Lydia Ko double-bogeyed the last hole. Ko was five strokes behind after six holes. Danielle Kang rallied by making birdies on the 13th, and 14th holes. To win by one stroke, Kang was victorious. Kang had to par the final two holes to seal the victory.

Danielle Kang, a six-time LPGA winner, has confirmed she has a tumor on her spine. The news was announced in April, shortly after she returned from a trip to Hawaii, where doctors found the tumor. Kang's back pain has been a result of the cancerous growth. She's been suffering with it for months. She's currently going through extensive tests to find out if her tumor is benign or malignant.
