Miesha Tate vs Ronda Rousey rematch
Miesha vs Rona Rousey is one of most anticipated bouts. Strikeforce booked the fight between the two mixed-martial artists. Tate is an ex-UFC champion and a rising star for mixed martial arts. The match-up was only announced a few days ago and many fans are eagerly awaiting the rematch.
Rousey defeated Tate for the Strikeforce bantamweight crown in March 2012. Tate tried again to win the title, but Rousey won through submission. Tate is now at 13-5. Rousey is now eight-0.
Miesha's return to form
Miesha has a second chance at Ronda Rousey. She recently choked out Holly Holm during UFC 196 and said she's ready to face Rousey again. Rousey is a former UFC champion and recently gave birth her first child together with Travis Browne. These two women were once close friends in Strikeforce, TUF.
Miesha Tate will attempt to win her first flyweight title following her fight against Rousey. The fight will air live on ESPN+ starting at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday. She'll probably go to Katy Perry’s "Roar."
Ronda Ronda Rousey's fall
Ronda Rousey fell if you are a fan mixed martial arts. Her career has been hampered by outside interests and she is currently in the crosshairs of the Internet. Her fall from grace was just as fast and furious as her rise. Rousey, who is regarded as one of the greatest fighters in the world has been a target of skeptics. While she's often blamed for her loss of grace, Rousey has been open and candid about her own losses.
Although Rousey hasn't publicly announced her retirement, she has already changed her public persona and has even fought under a new name: Amanda Nunes. At UFC 207 she issued a generic statement, thanking supporters for their support and stating that she would be considering retiring from mixed martial arts. Rousey is yet to announce her retirement but many are worried that she won’t be making a comeback soon.
Miesha's "telling it like she sees is" method of promoting fight
Miesha Tate, who was promoting Miesha Tate's fight against Ronda Rodey for her second title shot, decided to be more direct. She was quite mean and showed her rival everything she had. This was more than just selling the fight, it was also marking territory.
The MMA world is a different place now. Ronda Rousey, a women's champion at bantamweight, is Ronda. She is an Olympic champion and has been compared by some to Strikeforce champ Miesha Tate and UFC champ Miesha Tate. She is also a former MMA fighter and her "telling it like it is" style has received a lot of attention.
