SJSU's mental healthcare resources for student athletes
SJSU students-athletes have many mental health resources at their disposal. Many resources are targeted at athletes' needs. Support for Sport can help athletes locate mental health referrals, and allow them to share their mental health concerns with each other. LGBTQ+ Support provides stories and perspectives about playing in sports. Also helpful are ULIFELINE's college mental health resources. Counseling Services also provides a page with self-help resources for student-athletes. Health and Wellness Education also has a website with a variety of information about mental health topics.
The Counseling and Psychological Services department at SJSU provides high-quality services for students. This department examines an individual's whole self and provides tools and guidance to help them become productive members. The department is located at the third floor, Student Wellness Center. It offers counseling on many issues.
