Candice Parker's career stats are also available.

Sabrina Ionescu - triple-double

Sabrina Ionescu's triple-double career record is impressive. As a college player, she averaged 17.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists. This record was won in the middle of her third season after she had only played three games as a rookie due to an ankle injury.

Ionescu's performance in the first half was not up to her triple-double mark. Her second half performance was great. The New York Liberty improved their record to 9-12 with her 24 points and eight rebound assists. They are now within half a game in the playoffs.

Sue Bird double-double

Seattle Storm guard Sue Bird set the WNBA record for career assists with 2,600. Bird's Friday night double-double against Las Vegas Aces was one in league history. Ticha Penicheiro had previously held the record with a 3-pointer during transition. The 30-year-old veteran has now passed Ticha Penicheiro. The Seattle Storm led by 8 points with 1:50 to go. Bird broke her record with a 3-pointer in transition assisted by Breanna Stewart.

Sue Bird has left a legacy in basketball second only to Kareem Abou-Jabbar. She played for the Seattle Storm and won four championships, 13 All-Star games and is the only WNBA player who has reached 500 career games. Bird won five consecutive Olympic Gold Medals and was named league's All-Time Leading Scorer and Assist Maker.

Liz Cambage's scoring record

Liz Cambage ranks among the best WNBA centers. She is second in the league for points, rebounds and blocks per match. She is currently playing with the Dallas Wings, where she has won six of seven games. Today's Dallas Wings game saw her surround by thousands children as she watched.

Cambage's 53 point effort against New York Liberty was a new WNBA scoring records. She shot seventy-three percent from the field and made 15 of 16 free throws, which makes her the first WNBA player to ever score that many points in a single game. She also grabbed 10 rebounds, and had five blocked shots in the game. Cambage's record is an incredible accomplishment and she clearly is having a stellar season.
