CME Extends Its Sponsorship of LPGA

CME sponsored LPGA events at one time or another in the past. CME Group Titleholders was sponsored by the company, and Shanshan Feng won it. The LPGA sponsorship by the company dates back almost 20 years. The company has been a prominent sponsor of the LPGA for almost 20 years and is currently looking to expand.

Race to CME Globe

CME Group Tour Championship's name will be changed this week. It will now be called the Race to the CME Globe Championship. The $2.5 Million prize pool is for the first place. Chicago-based CME Group sponsored the event up to 2023.

Tiburon Golf Club

The Tiburon Club is the perfect place to watch professional golf tournaments. In 2022 the tournament will be played on the Tiburon Golf Club Gold Course. The CME Group Tour Championship, the season-ending event of the LPGA Tour, is one the most prestigious events on the women’s professional golf tour. The event will also be televised live via Golf Channel and NBC Sunday.

Jin Young Ko

Rolex World Rankings No. Jin Young Ko won six of her eleven LPGA starts. Jin Young Ko struggled with travel and injury issues in the first half. Her game was also affected by the death of her grandmother in March. Her consistency this year has been remarkable, however. She has nine top-10 finishes in 10 starts, with five victories in second half.


Yuka Saso

Yuka So finished 29th with a 1-over 72 in the second round at the 2021 LPGA CME Group Tour Championship. Saso had a solid first round, but was unable to cope with the challenging conditions.

Natalie Gulbis

CME Group Tour Championship is not only for professionals. It's also a great opportunity for women who are just starting out in the LPGA. Gulbis participated in a 2015 pro-am tournament and was awarded for her efforts. In return she was invited for the CME Group Tour Championship. The invitation was a thank you for Gulbis' contribution to the development of the event.

Shanshan Feng

Shanshan is the first Chinese woman who has won a tournament on LPGA Tour. She has now reached fifth place in the overall rankings after winning two major championships. She has also won over $4 million during her career. Feng is one the most exciting players on LPGA Tour.
