Stevens was taken into custody for driving under the effects. Solo was also suspended for a month. She was freed from domestic violence charges less than a fortnight before the incident.

In 2016, she was temporarily suspended and her contract was later terminated. She apologised for her actions, and filed a grievance claiming that she was unfairly terminated. She also confessed that she had miscarried in her pregnancy with twins. Jerramy Stevens, her husband, gave birth to twins Lozen, and Vittorio.
Briana Scurry
Briana Scurry was a former American soccer goalkeeper and is now an assistant for the Washington Spirit. She played for the United States women's national team and was a starting goalkeeper during the 1995 World Cup and the 1996 Summer Olympics. She also represented the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Scurry made an international debut for the USWNT during the 1994 World Cup. This event was held on American soil. Although the women's game wasn't as popular at that time, Scurry's efforts won the team a silver medal. She led the USWNT to the gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games, Atlanta. Fans and media both paid attention to her performances. Her heroism in the final of 1999 World Cup has become an iconic moment for US sports.
Alyssa Michele Naeher
Alyssa Naeher plays soccer goalkeeper for Chicago Red Stars in the National Women's Soccer League. She is also a member of the United States national team. She made her professional debut in 2006 and has since made the jump to the big time.
Naeher was conceived in Bridgeport on 20 April 1988. Naeher made a debut in December 2014 with the United States women’s soccer team. She made her first appearance during the International Tournament of Brazil 7-0 win over Argentina. Naeher has since become one of the best goalkeepers in women's soccer and is a key part of the team's success.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe is the winner of the Golden Ball and Golden Boot for her leadership in leading the United States' victory at 2019 Women's World Cup. She is also a feminist who has been fighting for equal pay and a strong voice for women in soccer. She credits the positive changes she has seen in soccer to her Seattle Reign coaches Lisa Harvey and Jill Andonovski.
Rapinoe's controversial sexuality hasn't kept her away from the sport, but her popularity has helped her fight for equality for female players. She has been a vocal advocate for the LGBTQ community, and she was one of the first white athletes to kneel during the national anthem, a move that inspired Colin Kaepernick's protests against racism in American sports. Rapinoe was also a defendant in a lawsuit filed against the US Soccer Federation regarding gender discrimination. The case was settled in 2021.

Jerramy Stevens
Jerramy, the US women's goalie for soccer, was arrested on suspicion that she assaulted Hope Solo. They were due to marry the next day, according to police. According to police, Stevens was charged with fourth-degree assault. Judge ruled however that there wasn't sufficient evidence to support the filing of charges. Prosecutors could still bring charges later, however, if they find additional evidence.
Hope Solo has concerns about Stevens' arrest. Stevens, a former NFL tight end and captain of the U.S. women’s soccer team, reportedly had an argument with Stevens' family. Stevens was initially arrested but the charges were dropped. They are now happily married and expecting twins on March 4, 2020.
