Miesha Tate and Ronda ROUSEY are a series of mixed-martial arts bouts. The fights were booked by the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Strikeforce. We'll be looking at Tate's return, Rousey's fall from grace, and the upcoming fight.
Miesha Tate vs Ronda Rousey rematch
One of the most anticipated fights of the year is the Miesha Tate-Rona Rousey rematch. Strikeforce booked the fight between the two mixed-martial artists. Tate is an ex-UFC champion and a rising star for mixed martial arts. The match-up was only announced a few days ago and many fans are eagerly awaiting the rematch.
Rousey defeated Tate for the Strikeforce bantamweight crown in March 2012. After the title fight, Tate tried to win it back, but Rousey won the rematch via submission. Tate is now 13-5. Rousey has an 8-0 record.

Miesha Tate's return
Miesha Tate is available for another round against Ronda Rousey. Recently, she choked out Holly Holm at UFC 196. She said that she is ready to face Rousey once again. Rousey is a former UFC champ who just had her first child, Travis Browne. These two women were once close friends in Strikeforce, TUF.
Miesha Tate hopes to win her first Flyweight title after her fight against Rousey. The fight will be live on ESPN+, at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. She will likely walk out to Katy Perry’s "Roar"
Ronda Rousey's fall From Grace
Ronda Rousey's downfall is a common sight for fans of mixed martial arts. The ex-UFC champion is in trouble online, and her career has been affected by too many outside interests. Her descent from grace has been as swift and furious, in fact, as her rise. Rousey is known as one of most skilled fighters in the country and has become a target for skeptical people. Although she is largely to blame for her downfall, Rousey has been honest and open about her losses.
Rousey may not have publicly announced her retirement yet, but she has made a change to her public persona. Rousey fought under Amanda Nunes' new name. At UFC 207, she gave a generic apology to her fans and said that she would look into retiring from mixed-martial arts. Rousey still hasn't announced her retirement but many worry that she won’t return to mixed martial arts in the near term.

Miesha Tate uses "tell it how she sees" to promote fight
Miesha Tate tried to be more blunt as she promoted the fight for her second championship against Ronda. She was quite mean and showed her rival everything she had. This was more than just selling the fight, it was also marking territory.
The MMA arena is a very different place. Ronda Ronda, a women’s bantamweight champion. She is an Olympic silver medalist. Her "tell it as she sees" style, which is a former MMA fighter has attracted a lot attention.
