The National Women's Soccer League of the United States is a professional women's league. The United States Soccer Federation manages and owns the league. It was under a management agreement with the United States Soccer Federation up to 2020. The NWSL is comprised of 12 teams with a stadium located in Seattle, Washington. Olympic athletes, Lance Armstrong, and the United States Women's National Team all joined them at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, and musicians Sheryl Crow and Anthony LaPaglia joined the Players Association for an exhibition with area youth soccer players at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The Players Association held a benefit concert in support of the players, as well as the musicians.
