If you're a woman who enjoys playing basketball, you've probably considered Diana Taurasi or Breanna Stewart to be the best women's basketball player. But is there anyone else on the list? Courtney Vandersloot is on the list, as well as Elena Delle Donne. Although you will have to make your decision about these players, I have put together a short list that includes the top 10 women's NBA players.

Diana Taurasi

Diana Taurasi is the best WNBA player. Here are some examples of her resume. This All-Star has won numerous trophies, including the MVP Award and scoring title. Diana has won three championships and two Finals MVP Awards. She also received 14 All-WNBA selections. This makes her one of best players in the league.

Breanna Stewart

For the second year in a row, the Seattle Storm are in Finals. Breanna Stuart is one of WNBA's best players. Two-time Finals MVP, Stewart was in the MVP conversation after the Olympic Games 2016. By the time she returned from her Achilles injury and won the title, she was widely recognized as the best player of the league. After winning the NBA's 2018 WNBA championship, she was named the league MVP in 2017 and the Finals MVP in 2018.

Courtney Vandersloot

Vandersloot was instrumental in the Seattle Sky's return to the playoffs in 2021 after they had missed four years due the departure of Elena Delle Donne. She averaged 8.6 points per game in the 2015 season, and led the league for that category. She led the league in assists per game in 2014 and 2015 and was the first WNBA player to average over nine assists per game. She was also the league’s best player for points per minute. Vandersloot averaged 10.2 assists per match in the postseason.

Elena Delle Donne

Many women will debate whether or not Elena Delle Donne is the best WLBA player, but the evidence is clear. The Washington season was an incredible one for the ex-Duke player. Not only did she become the first WNBA player to shoot over 50% from the field, but she also shot over 40% from behind the 3-point line. Her shooting percentage is so impressive that she was awarded two MVPs on two different teams. Her performance helped the Mystics to finish first in league play and win the playoffs. Her performances earned her 12 vote.

Allie Quigley

Allie Quigley, a woman's basketball player, is one of the best in the league. Her intelligence and mental toughness make her an indispensable player. In the playoffs she made the game-winning basket as a Chicago Sky teammate. Quigley dribbled toward the basket and was soon surrounded two defenders. She quickly used the momentum of her defenders against her to pull up for a midrange jumper. She sank the shot by pulling up and firing elbow to elbow.

Tamika Catchings

During her career, Tamika Catchings has racked up an incredible number of stats, ranking her as one of the best players in the WNBA. She is the leader in steals, and third in career point with 7,380. She has also won WNBA Player of the Year and three other league awards. Catchings is the most decorated player in the WNBA, and she will be inducted in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame (2020).
