Rose Lavelle, USWNT Midfielder of the Match

Lavelle represented the United States women’s national team at both the junior and senior levels. She was named the Big Ten's top Midfielder in November 2015. NSCAA later awarded her the honor of first-team All-American. Lavelle was also a member of the Dayton Dutch Lions W-League team in 2014, and the Seattle Sounders Women W-League team in 2015. Lavelle was a graduate of college and joined the Washington Spirit. She then returned to Dayton for the start of the 2016 Women's Premier Soccer League season.

Rose Lavelle has been a part of many community service programs at the university, while playing soccer for Badgers. Rose Lavelle has been involved in Wish Upon a Badger Experience (women's soccer) and Thank-A-Thon (youth soccer clinics). She has been a brand ambassador for FLIGHT by Yuengling, a premium light beer.

She was a key player in the U.S. Women's National Team

Rose Lavelle was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. At 15 years of age, she was a key player in the U.S. Women's National Team. She played recently in the Czech Republic at SheBelieves Cup. Although the USWNT won the game 0-0 they outshot their opponents by 18-6. Rose Lavelle received the Budweiser Woman Award for the Match.
