
Fallon Fox is an American mixed martial artist that is openly transgender. She is the sport's first transgender fighter. Her transgender identity was made public when she announced her transition to female in 2011. Fallon is a strong advocate for gender equality.
Manuel
Manuel Fallon Fox, 26, of Los Angeles, California, was a high school student when he decided to pursue a career in boxing. He was enrolled in Jeet Kune Do when a girl approached him about a sparring session. Manuel decided to go and meet her at a boxing gym in a nearby suburb. There, an overzealous coach instructed Manuel and the girl to spar. Manuel was also slapped by him.
Manuel has fought only three professional bouts, his first two were amateur bouts. He has suffered many injuries throughout his entire career. He has missed numerous fights because of back-toback injuries as well as shifting priorities in the bureaucracy. He has yet to fulfill his promise that he would return to the ring.

Her relationship to a gay man
Fallon Fox, a MMA fighter has been the focus of a lot of attention recently because of her relationship to a gay man. Fox was born as a biological male. She struggled with gender identity at an early age. As a teenager, Fox believed she was gay. She did not know there were transgender individuals at the time.
She began to research transgender issues and was eventually able to transition. She began to read about transsexuals who had waited decades for their transition. She eventually lost her hair. She eventually lost her hair and underwent several operations to become a woman.
Gender reassignment surgery for her
Fallon Fox was born as an adult male. However, she struggled with her gender identity as an adolescent. In her teenage years, Fallon Fox thought she was homosexual, but later realized she was transgender. Following this realization, she decided that gender reassignment would be the best option for her. She traveled to Thailand for the surgery and underwent a series of surgeries.
Fallon Fox learned about the term "transgender” as a teenager. At a young age, she began to question her identity and began to steal her mother's clothes to play dress-up when no one was looking. While her family was not supportive of her decision to undergo gender reassignment surgery, she served in the Navy for four years, becoming an operations specialist second class. She went on to attend technical college, and then enrolled at University of Toledo.

Her MMA career
Fallon Fox, who lost to Amanda Nunes UFC 215 in UFC 215 early in 2018, announced that she had decided to retire from professional mixed martial arts and would not compete anymore. She announced her intention to retire in February 2017. In February 2017, she announced her intention to retire. Fox has not competed since.
Although her MMA career was short, it is notable to note that she has become a prominent advocate of transgender athletes. Born as a male, she struggled with gender identity from an early age, believing herself to be a gay man. She didn't know that there were transgender people all over the globe.
