Sylvia Fowles
Sylvia Fowles was named an honorary selection for the WNBA All Star Game. She is currently playing in her final season and averages 14.9 points per game, 9.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals. Her team, Minnesota Lynx (8-15), is currently 2.5 games from the playoffs.
Fowles, a former LSU standout, dunk on a breakaway opportunity in the second quarter. Fowles was successful in forcing Team Stewart's ball-handler to turn the ball over and stole the ball before he slammed it into his face. She finished the game with seven points and nine rebounds for Team Wilson.
Sue Bird
Sue Bird, a Chicago Bulls guard, has been named the co-captain of the WNBA All-Star team. Breanna Stewart (also a Chicago Bulls guard) has been named co-captain of the WNBA All-Star team. The game will take place at Wintrust Arena, Chicago on Sunday, July 10. It will be televised by ABC.

Sue Bird was selected as the eighth All-Star Game's winner, while Sylvia Fowles won the 13th All-Star Game. During the first half of the game, Fowles got the crowd going with her breakaway dunk. Sue Bird and Fowles received a standing ovation after the game.
Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale, a two-time NCAA champion, has earned her first WNBA All-Star selection. She was named the league's leading scorer last season and is now eighth in points per game for the Dallas Wings. She will be an integral part of Team USA's preparations to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Chicago will host the WNBA All-Star Game on July 9-10. Special events have been added by the WNBA to Saturday's event. These include a skills competition as well as a contest for three points. Ogunbowale hopes that he will be a part of the next All-Star game. In the past, Team USA won the WNBA's inaugural All-Star game.
Kelsey Plum
In her debut WNBA All Star Game, Aces guard Kelsey Plum scored 30 points against Team Stewart. Despite being small in stature, Plum was named the WNBA All Star Game MVP. Her MVP trophy, however, was dwarfed by the NBA's Kobe Bryant's All-Star MVP trophy. WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert brought some humor to the event, and she presented Plum with a new trophy after the game.
Plum stated that she wanted to win the MVP award. She made 12 field goals in the game and took 18 shots, which was an All-Star record. She averages 19.9 minutes per game. In addition to playing in the WNBA All Star Game, she is also representing the United States in the 3x3 basketball competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Arike Olubowale's MVP Award
Arike Ogunbowale was the MVP of the WNBA all-star game. The guard from Dallas played college basketball at Notre Dame. She was the fifth overall pick in the WNBA draft. Vanessa Bryant was her mother and a huge fan of the player. Her family voted her in, so this is an extra special award.
The 2021 WNBA WNBA All-Star game witnessed many changes, but it is still an all-star tournament. Ogunbowale was one of the lone WNBA player to win MVP honors, beating Team USA in the matchup by 93-85. Ogunbowale will also be able to repeat the feat in the next two years as she was selected as a reserve player for the 2022 WNBA ALL-STAR Game. The game will take place in Chicago and be televised by ABC.
